Job description

Systems Security Engineer II-P2 – Onsite position at Raytheon, McKinney, TX

Security clearance required: Secret (active and transferable). U.S. citizenship is mandatory.

Responsibilities
  • Support implementation of Systems Security Engineering (SSE) solutions into RTX products.
  • Define SSE requirements, solutions, trade studies, costs, and implementation impacts.
  • Plan and guide SSE implementations in customer systems.
  • Conduct attack threat modeling and critical program information assessments.
  • Develop top-level system requirements and flow down requirements and implementation concepts to subsystems.
  • Ensure understanding and compliance with DoD technology release and export licensing policies.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Active, transferable U.S. government issued DoD Secret security clearance required prior to start.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Experience in System Security Engineering, reverse engineering, cybersecurity or embedded security.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of generating systems requirements, design and architecture artifacts, plans and/or policies.
  • Knowledge of Software, Firmware, Microelectronics Engineering, Cryptography and FPGA design.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Computer Science or Engineering Science.
  • Broad understanding of technology and working knowledge of DODI-S-5230.28.
  • Experience collaborating in a team environment to develop creative technical solutions.
