Active SECRET Security Clearance

Position Overview:

  • Seeking a highly qualified Software Engineer to support embedded real-time software development for missile development products in our Grand Prairie, TX facility.
  • This role focuses on the design, development, integration, and maintenance of software and firmware for mission-critical systems, including flight control, avionics, and weapons systems.
  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Ada programming, real-time operating systems, and Linux environments.
  • You will work across all phases of the software development lifecycle from requirements analysis to implementation and formal qualification testing.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain embedded real-time software applications using Ada.
  • Support software integration with engineering systems including avionics, control systems, and defense platforms.
  • Apply industry-standard development processes, tools, and best practices throughout the software lifecycle.
  • Interface with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to define and refine system requirements.
  • Participate in formal software verification and validation efforts.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of a software factory/CI-CD pipeline.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Ada programming
  • Experience with Linux (preferably CentOS)
  • Real-time embedded software development
