Job Title:         Senior FPGA Design Engineer
Location:         Rochester, NY

Schedule:        9/80 (Every other Friday off)

Role Overview

Design and verify FPGA-based firmware for tactical communication systems. This role focuses on building high-performance digital logic for radio, modem, and signal processing applications within embedded systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop FPGA firmware using VHDL/Verilog
  • Build and execute verification environments using SystemVerilog
  • Implement DSP algorithms and communication signal processing
  • Translate system requirements into FPGA architectures
  • Integrate firmware with hardware and debug real-time systems
  • Create technical documentation, test plans, and design reviews
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams

Required Technical Skills (with Experience)
