Job Summary
Provide academic support services designed to ensure the success of students in the School of Science & Aeronautics.
This is a grant funded position.
Essential Duties
Provide embedded tutoring, supplemental instructor, and team teach in science and/or aviation courses.
Collaborate with faculty to develop lessons and activities.
Work with faculty to monitor student course progress.
Help students navigate academic challenges in their coursework.
Identify and develop appropriate academic resources for student success.
Maintain student assessment data to measure student outcomes.
Collaborate with faculty members for encountered student needs beyond tutoring.
Minimum Qualifications
One year certificate or training from college or technical school in air traffic control. Degree requirement may be substituted with relevant and equivalent work experience.
Require certificate in Air Traffic Control phraseology.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's degree or equivalent education in air traffic control. Degree requirement may be substituted with relevant and equivalent work experience.
Prefer demonstrated experience in air traffic control simulation.
