Job description

Director of B2B Marketing & Communications

100% Remote

We are seeking a Director of B2B Marketing & Communications to lead our B2B brand, content, communications, and industry presence.

This is a hands-on marketing leadership role focused on how the company is positioned and perceived externally across the legal and financial services industries. This is not a traditional social media role. You will own the broader B2B marketing strategy and help build the company's visibility, credibility, and reputation with key industry decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the company's B2B marketing and communications strategy.
  • Own the company LinkedIn page, organic content strategy, and content calendar.
  • Develop thought leadership and LinkedIn content for company executives.
  • Turn case studies, company milestones, performance data, and industry insights into compelling content.
  • Manage website content, company updates, and other external communications.
  • Develop and execute conference, sponsorship, booth, and event marketing initiatives.
  • Plan company-hosted industry events and targeted partner dinners.
  • Manage the PR agency relationship and coordinate media opportunities.
  • Identify and manage awards, rankings, speaking opportunities, and industry panels.
  • Develop industry reports and proprietary-data content.
  • Build an email/newsletter strategy as the B2B marketing program grows.
  • Coordinate designers, video/creative resources, agencies, and internal teams.
  • Maintain consistency in the company's brand, messaging, and external presence.
Ideal Background
  • 5–10+ years of experience in B2B marketing, brand, communications, or content.
  • Experience owning B2B marketing for a growing company, not simply managing social media.
  • Strong LinkedIn, content, and thought leadership experience.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to interview executives and turn their ideas into compelling content.
  • Experience managing PR agencies and external creative resources.
  • Experience with conferences, sponsorships, events, and industry marketing.
  • Experience developing case studies, reports, thought leadership, and marketing collateral.
  • Entrepreneurial and hands-on, with the ability to develop strategy and execute quickly.
  • Comfortable building credibility and visibility within a focused B2B market.
Example Projects

You might:

  • Build and execute a 90-day LinkedIn content calendar.
  • Turn a successful client case study into a LinkedIn carousel, website article, executive posts, email content, and conference collateral.
  • Interview an executive for 20 minutes and turn the conversation into several thought-leadership posts in their voice.
  • Coordinate the company's presence at a major industry conference, including the booth, sponsorship, pre- and post-event content, and a private dinner for prospective partners.

Experience in legal tech, legal marketing, performance marketing, lead generation, fintech, financial services, B2B SaaS, or agencies serving these industries is a strong plus.
