Job description

As aProject Management Branch Chief, you will be responsible for the overall leadership, management, and direction of a Construction Management (COR) Branch composed of subordinate Construction Managers (CORs) and Project Managers.
Location of position: GSA - Public Building Services (PBS) - Office of Program and Project Management (PX)

We are currently filling one vacancy, but additional vacancies may be filled as needed.

The GS-14 salary range starts at $125,776 per year.  
To qualify, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or higher in the Federal service.

Specialized experience is defined as:

  1. Directing, managing, and providing expert oversight for a diverse portfolio of complex federal projects, including multi-million dollar design and construction activities across business lines.
  2. Supervising or leading project teams through formal or informal authority examples include planning and assigning work, evaluating performance, mentoring staff, resolving conflicts to achieve organizational objectives.
  3. Serving as a technical expert and stakeholder liaison by providing authoritative guidance on project management practices, communicating complex technical information to senior leadership and customer agencies to facilitate successful project delivery.
