Job Summary:
Cymertek Corporation is seeking a motivated and innovative DevOps Engineer to join their team. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing automated workflows and pipelines to enhance software delivery and system reliability while collaborating with development, QA, and IT teams.
Responsibilities:
• Ability to automate and streamline development processes
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC)
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong understanding of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Experience in managing cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's Degree
• Ability to automate and streamline development processes
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC)
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong understanding of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Experience in managing cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Ability to work in a collaborative, agile environment
• Proficiency with automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible)
• Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack)
• Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python)
• Experience with cloud-native technologies
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues
• TS/SCI Full Poly clearance (full U.S. Citizenship required)
Preferred:
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Knowledge of serverless computing
• Expertise in security practices for DevOps environments
• Familiarity with infrastructure monitoring tools
• Understanding of database administration
• Certification in DevOps tools or cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer)
