This request is for a Technical Specialist who will server as a mainframe expert. The ideal candidate should have mainframe skills including CICS, DB2, Elixir, Endevor, IMS, and JCL. Additional skills in middleware and MQ are beneficial. The candidate should possess
Thorough knowledge of Z/OS operating system and its interrelationships and functionality
The ability to provide configuration management /release management support and guidance for Endevor software
Thorough knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) programming language and techniques
Thorough knowledge of tools and utilities to support DB2
The ability to evaluate complex SQL queries and recommend suggestions for better software performance and cost savings
The ability to provide CICS administration, problem-solving and debugging support interfacing with application developers as well as client personnel
Skill - Required / Desired - Amount of Experience
Knowledge of Z/OS operating system and its interrelationships and functionality - Required - 7 Years
Experience providing configuration management / release management support and guidance for Endevor software - Required - 7 Years
