Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 9:45pm - 6:15am


Job Summary:

Set-up and run die cutting equipment, maintaining good quality, productivity, and work attitude.


Job Description:

  • Set-up and run die cutting equipment.
  • Maintain standard of quality.
  • Report any problems and/or discrepancies to the die cutting assistant/department manager.
  • Keep the work area clean and orderly.
  • Work overtime when needed.
  • Report accurate time and quantities using the “ELF” systems.
  • Be responsible for maintaining glue inventory.
  • Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • None
Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION

  • High School diploma or equivalent/Technical or equivalent experience
  • 1 year die cutting experience on any material.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS OF POSITION

  • Large Format Die cutting experience.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

  • Ability to measure in fractions of inches up to and including 32nds.
  • Ability to communicate/understand written as well as oral instructions.
  • Ability to apply written instructions to machine set-up.
  • Basic Math skills including skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Reliability through attendance, punctuality, and attention to workstation.
  • Supports a safe work environment.
  • Knowledge of production materials.

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT

  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to visually inspect all work for defects and distinguish colors.
  • Frequent reaching, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, and stooping.
  • Manual dexterity for repetitive work.
  • Frequent walking and standing.
