These roles can include web designers, developers, customer support, or marketing professionals who use Elementor tools to create, customize, or maintain websites. Working remotely allows employees to collaborate online and perform their tasks from anywhere in the world, provided they have a reliable internet connection. This flexibility is ideal for those who want to work from home or while traveling.

How does collaboration typically work for remote roles at Elementor, and what tools are commonly used to stay connected with the team?

At Elementor, remote employees collaborate closely with colleagues using a suite of digital communication and project management tools. Team members frequently interact via platforms like Slack for messaging, Zoom for video meetings, and Asana or Jira for project tracking. Regular check-ins, virtual standups, and transparent documentation help ensure everyone stays aligned, regardless of location. This setup fosters a supportive, communicative environment where remote employees can effectively contribute and feel part of the team.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an Elementor Remote web designer, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Elementor Remote Web Designer, you need strong expertise in web design principles, proficiency in WordPress, and solid experience using the Elementor page builder, typically supported by a relevant portfolio. Excellent communication, time management, and problem-solving skills are crucial for collaborating with clients and teams in a remote environment. These skills ensure you can deliver visually compelling, functional websites efficiently while maintaining effective remote collaboration.

Job description

About Presence

Presence is the leading provider of teletherapy solutions for children with diverse needs. Our award-winning technology connects speech-language pathologists, school psychologists, occupational therapists, and mental health specialists to K-12 school districts nationwide. With a growing network of over 2,000 clinicians and more than 8 million teletherapy sessions delivered, we're dedicated to ensuring every child has access to the support they need.

At Presence, we embrace the benefits of being a remote-first company while recognizing the importance of in-person connection to advance our mission. We place a high value on "cameras on" engagement, schedule coordination, and cross-functional communication to stay connected while working in different places. Travel is also an important part of many roles, helping us build stronger relationships with our teams, clinicians, and school partners. The frequency will vary by role and responsibilities, but may include activities such as department offsites, team gatherings, and school or industry events.

About the role:

We're looking for a Marketing Web Developer to join our team. Reporting to the Marketing Director and working closely with our Marketing and Creative teams, you'll own the management and optimization of our website, keeping it secure, accessible, and user-friendly while growing our visibility across search and emerging AI search channels. You'll own the full lifecycle of web pages and projects, from brief to launch, formulating web solutions that meet business goals and create engaging, user-friendly experiences. This role is perfect for someone who thrives at the intersection of technical execution and creative strategy, and offers the opportunity to leverage your technical expertise, creative insight, and strategic thinking to drive the success of our digital presence - all while contributing to a mission-driven organization that helps children with special needs.

To stay connected, all employees commit to being available on-camera during our Core Working Hours (Monday - Friday, 12 - 5 p.m. ET) with standard business hours of 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. in your local time zone. For this role, up to 10% travel may be required to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way.

What will you do at Presence:

Website Management & Development

    • Own our WordPress website, including day-to-day operations, technical troubleshooting, and monthly maintenance
    • Use website analytics to identify opportunities and implement UI/UX improvements that enhance accessibility, performance, and engagement.
    • Work closely with the creative team during design discussions, offering technical guidance on feasibility, best practices, and adherence to global systems and standards.
    • Translate Figma design systems and prototypes into responsive, production-ready builds
    • Implement responsive design to ensure consistency and usability across devices and screen sizes.
    • Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and analytics tracking in partnership with cross-functional teams.

Website Project Management

    • Own website projects end-to-end, from brief support through launch, with clear success metrics, stakeholder alignment, and QA along the way.
    • Support larger project-based initiatives such as website migrations or redesigns, in collaboration with the Marketing Director and other stakeholders.

AEO / SEO / GEO & Reporting Strategy

    • Drive AEO / SEO / GEO strategy, expanding search and AI citation presence across channels, closing content gaps through research and audits, and implementing on-page best practices such as meta tags, headings, and structured data markup.
    • Conduct keyword research and analysis to improve website visibility and search rankings.
    • Partner with the content team to provide insights and recommendations for website content aligned with optimization strategies.
    • Build automated reporting on web and search performance, monitor key metrics, and present insights and recommendations

What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years building and maintaining production websites, with substantial WordPress experience
  • Strong hands-on Elementor (or comparable page builder) skill, plus solid HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • PHP and custom WordPress theme or plugin development
  • Git and modern development workflows, ideally on WP Engine
  • REST APIs and third-party integrations
  • GA4 and Google Tag Manager (including event and data layer configuration) or similar tools for measuring and improving web and marketing performance
  • Ability to build reports and dashboards, and clearly communicate findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders
  • In-depth SEO knowledge and a track record of successful strategies, including AEO/GEO and AI search visibility
  • Practical WCAG 2.2 knowledge and sound judgment about handling sensitive data
  • Experience owning a production system as the responsible party, with clear patching and access practices
  • Strong eye for design detail and consistency, with the ability to translate a Figma design file or system into a polished, on-brand page
  • Self-directed, with strong prioritization across multiple projects
  • Clear, proactive communication, comfortable taking remote direction from the Marketing Director and collaborating across teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to technical challenges

What else you might bring:

  • K-12, healthcare, or another regulated environment
  • A migration or replatform under your belt
  • CI/CD, A/B testing and experimentation

What will help you succeed here:

  • Our team is committed to shared principles of inclusivity. We engage with all stakeholders in a spirit of listening, learning, and broadening our perspectives.
  • We commit to a growth mindset. We don't use energy to explain why something can't be done; we figure out how to make it happen.
  • We are mission-driven. Our work helps more children with special needs receive the necessary support. We believe that our work is essential, meaningful, and urgent.
  • We believe in data-driven decision-making, measuring outcomes, and iterative improvement.
  • You seek creative, effective solutions and persist beyond the first answer to find what truly works
  • You deliver high-quality work on time, and you proactively seek support or guidance when challenges arise

How we support you:

  • Comprehensive benefit plans, including medical with a High Deductible Plan and generous HSA contribution, plus dental and vision coverage
  • In addition to 11 observed holidays, salaried team members have flexible paid time off and hourly team members accrue 15 days paid time off starting
  • 401K savings plan with a discretionary company match
  • $500 home office stipend
  • Benefits package including company-paid life insurance, AD&D, Employee Assistance Program, and disability benefits
  • Wellness programs with Headspace, Peloton and One Medical
  • Paid parental and caregiving leave
  • Professional Development opportunities - eligibility to apply for our scholarship program
  • Collaborative, inclusive, and fun culture that is recognized as Great Place to Work certified
  • Employee Resource Groups to promote shared community and belonging
  • A meaningful and fulfilling opportunity to join a mission-driven team and help thousands of students unlock their full potential through access to high-quality special education services
  • Opportunities to give back to your community, including volunteer time off and donation matching

An employee's starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions. We aim to pay competitively for our size and industry.

The annual base salary range for this role is $115,000.00 - $135,000.00
