Job description

We're looking for a freelance WordPress developer with deep Elementor expertise to build, customize, and maintain our website. You'll translate approved Figma designs into polished, production-ready pages and handle front-end coding, plugin configuration, content updates, and ongoing troubleshooting. You work independently, write clean code, and know when to go beyond Elementor's native capabilities to get the job done right.
What You'll Do
  • Build and customize WordPress pages using Elementor with pixel-accurate execution of approved designs.
  • Translate Figma mockups into responsive, production-ready Elementor builds that align with our design system and formatting standards.
  • Create custom layouts, templates, and sections that are scalable and easy to maintain.
  • Write custom HTML, CSS, and JavaScript when standard Elementor functionality isn't enough.
  • Optimize every page for mobile performance, cross-device consistency, and fast load times.
  • Configure and manage WordPress plugins, themes, and site settings.
  • Troubleshoot layout issues, functionality bugs, and site performance problems quickly and independently.

What You Bring
  • Proven hands-on experience building and editing websites in Elementor (beyond just drag-and-drop, but real custom work).
  • Solid front-end skills in HTML and CSS, with working knowledge of JavaScript.
  • Experience implementing designs from Figma files or brand guidelines with close attention to detail.
  • Comfort managing WordPress themes, plugins, and content updates in a live environment.
  • Deep knowledge of accessibility standards for web, including experience reviewing and improving WCAG compliance.
  • Strong troubleshooting instincts. You identify the problem and fix it.
  • Ability to deliver clean, well-organized builds.
  • A portfolio of your work. We want to see sites you built, with custom builds.

Nice to Have
  • Experience with SEO best practices and on-page optimization.
  • Familiarity with website speed optimization techniques (lazy loading, caching, image compression).
  • Experience integrating third-party forms, CRMs, or marketing tools into WordPress.

Portfolio Requirement
Share 3 to 5 websites you built or significantly contributed to in WordPress using Elementor. For each, include a brief description of your role, the site's goal, and any custom coding or technical challenges you solved. Links preferred.
Technical Must-Haves
WordPress, Elementor (advanced), HTML, CSS, JavaScript (working knowledge), theme and template customization, plugin installation and configuration, responsive and mobile optimization, independent implementation of production-ready pages.
