Job description


The Environmental Services Worker Lead provides work leadership to hourly employees in completion of their job duties in Aramark Facility Services areas of responsibility during the event and will also perform hands-on work.
Job Responsibilities
  • Assists management and supervisors at beginning and end of shift with sign-in, supplies, equipment sign out and sign in
  • Assist shift operation in the preparation and delivery of supplies necessary to help ensure all employees' needs are met
  • May need to perform overall assessment of public restrooms and on-call rooms
  • Adheres to all departmental sanitation procedures
  • Report all employee issues (safety, injuries, and disciplinary)
  • Supervises all staff assignments to ensure efficient and high-quality cleaning services
  • Responsible for formulating action plans to correct inefficiencies and quality discrepancies
  • Assists in employee training, coaching, and motivation
  • Maintains an accurate record keeping system for quality control systems
  • Adheres to all established systems and training programs to provide a safe working environment
  • Complies with all OSHA regulations and other local, state, and federal government regulations
  • Maintains compliance with Aramark's standards of operation and client contract
  • Maintains all records and reports necessary to comply with Aramark, government, and accrediting agency standards, regulations, and codes

Qualifications
  • Requires 1-2 years of experience in environmental services
  • Ability to communicate (both verbal and written) effectively
  • Ability to apply elementary math functions
  • Ability to work well under time constraints
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed, but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • Basic knowledge of infection control procedures and universal precautions and work independently after appropriate training and instruction
  • Maintain a friendly and efficient service attitude towards customers, co-workers, and clients
