Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Night Auditor to join our team in AC & Element Miami DT. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth overnight operation of the hotel, managing guest accounts, and providing exceptional guest services during nighttime hours. The ideal candidate will possess strong hospitality management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences. Bilingual or multilingual skills are highly valued to assist our diverse clientele effectively. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment, supporting guest relations and hotel operations during the overnight shift.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct nightly audits of guest accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all transactions.
  • Balance and reconcile daily financial reports, including cash, credit card transactions, and other payments.
  • Assist guests with late check-ins, check-outs, and inquiries, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Handle guest requests and resolve issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including reservations, cancellations, and modifications.
  • Maintain security protocols by monitoring hotel premises and ensuring guest safety.
  • Prepare reports for management regarding financial transactions and operational issues encountered during the shift.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor.

Experience

  • Previous experience in hospitality management or front desk operations is preferred.
  • Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems is advantageous. Marriott Lightspeed prefer.
  • Experience with night audit procedures or similar roles in hotels or resorts is highly desirable.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Familiarity with guest relations, phone etiquette, and handling guest inquiries professionally.
  • Prior experience working in a hospitality environment that emphasizes guest services and hotel operations will be beneficial.
