Job Title: Assistant Technician
Worksite: 555 Dylan Drive, South Bend, IN 
Department: 4030 – Cable Modem Repair (Broadband Repair)
Day Shift (Mon - Fri)

Job Description:

Hiring Assistant Technicians to support cable modem and broadband repair operations. This role involves repairing electronic circuit boards and AT&T residential gateway devices through component-level troubleshooting, soldering, and testing.
Candidates must have hands-on electronics repair experience and be comfortable working with technical equipment and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair, modify, and replace components on electronic circuit boards and set-top box units
  • Perform component-level troubleshooting and repair of PCBs
  • Remove damaged or malfunctioning components and replace with new parts
  • Perform both surface-mount and through-hole soldering repairs
  • Test and troubleshoot electronic devices to ensure functionality
  • Use equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, volt meters, and soldering tools
  • Read schematics and technical documentation to complete repairs
  • Maintain quality standards and repair accuracy
  • Keep workstations clean, organized, and safe
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
