What you'll do:
  • PCB Rework: Solder/desolder fine pitched components and BGA packages\
  • Efficiently and effectively perform assembly, testing & troubleshoot/repair of electronic modules and sensors
  • Utilize hand tools, microscope, and soldering equipment
  • Mechanical and electrical assembly of prototype systems and crash modules.
  • Read schematics and component datasheets and assist in PCB bring up and debug.
  • Work from product specifications and written/verbal instructions.

What you'll bring:
  • Preferred: Associate degree
  • Proficient with Oscilloscope, meters and other test equipment.
  • Able to solder and inspect PCBA's.
  • Adhere to ISO 16949 procedures to maintain compliance
  • Maintain a clean and ESD safe work area.
  • Good team player that is willing to help other team members when needed
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiar with PCB layout viewer.
  • AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 6 years of related experience in the automotive industry.
  • Working knowledge of engineering principles and ability to read and comprehend work instructions, schematics and design documentation
  • Critical thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Proficiency with Microsoft desktop environment: Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook
