Job description

Tecnova Electronics is seeking an Electronics Manufacturing Engineer to help transform innovative product designs into high-quality manufactured solutions. In this role, you will serve as a key link between engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams, ensuring products are optimized for manufacturability, efficiency, and long-term success.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving complex manufacturing challenges, collaborating across departments, and driving continuous improvement in an electronics manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do:
  • Review customer documentation and product requirements to support the quoting and manufacturing process.
  • Evaluate product designs for manufacturability and recommend improvements that enhance quality, cost, and production efficiency.
  • Partner with customers, engineering teams, and production personnel to successfully launch new products into manufacturing.
  • Create and maintain part records, component attributes, and compliance information within the company ERP/database system.
  • Develop, review, and validate bills of materials (BOMs), including component research and approved cross-references.
  • Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and product process specifications.
  • Investigate product and process issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

What You Bring: 

  • Bachelor's degree in either Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
  • Understanding of multi-level bill of material (BOM) structures and manufacturing documentation.
  • Knowledge of electronic assemblies, electrical systems, mechanical applications, and instrumentation.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
  • Ability to distinguish colors, component markings, and fine circuit details.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Nice to Have:

  • Experienced/trained in AutoCAD, Solid Works or Visio 
  • Prior experience in an engineering role, or internship experience 
  • Previous experience with PCB assembly
