Engineering – Warranty & Production Support TechnicianPosition SummaryThe Engineering Tech will be part of the North America Equipment Solutions Aftermarket team, supporting warranty analysis, production support, product validation, and service readiness activities. This provides hands-on experience in troubleshooting industrial welding equipment, supporting New Product Introduction activities, and collaborating with Engineering and Service teams.
The temp will gain practical experience in product diagnostics, repair processes, functional testing, technical documentation, and continuous improvement while contributing to daily aftermarket and production support activities.
Key ResponsibilitiesWarranty Recovery & Repair Support- Learn the operation, functionality, and integration of welding power sources, wire feeders, and welding systems.En
- Assist in diagnosing warranty-returned equipment and identifying root causes of failures.
- Support troubleshooting, repair, and functional verification of returned products under engineering guidance.
- Assist in refurbishing warranty-returned equipment for evaluation or inventory recovery.
- Support recovery, identification, and organization of reusable spare parts from warranty returns.
New Product Introduction (NPI) & Product Validation- Assist in building and configuring functional test setups for product validation.
- Perform functional testing, collect test data, and document validation results under supervision.
- Communicate test observations and findings to engineering teams.
- Support service readiness activities for new product launches.
Production Support- Assist the production team in investigating day-to-day production and quality issues.
- Support troubleshooting using manuals, engineering documentation, and diagnostic procedures.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- Basic understanding of electrical and electronic circuits.
- Strong interest in hands-on troubleshooting, product testing, and repair.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and work in a fast-paced technical environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Familiarity with electronic test equipment such as digital multimeters and oscilloscopes is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications- Exposure to power electronics, embedded systems, or industrial equipment.
- Experience with laboratory testing, electronics assembly, or product validation is desirable but not required.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
