What is an electronic rework technician?

Electronic Rework Technicians are specialized professionals who repair, modify, or rework electronic assemblies and circuit boards. They use tools like soldering irons, microscopes, and precision instruments to remove, replace, or fix faulty components on printed circuit boards (PCBs) or other electronic equipment. Their work is essential in manufacturing, quality control, and after-sales service to ensure products meet required standards and function properly. These technicians often follow strict industry guidelines and may also perform diagnostic tests to identify issues before performing repairs.

What skills and qualifications are needed to be an electronic rework technician?
