Job description

In partnership with an industry leader in electromechanical, manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain solutions we are looking to add to their Test Tech and Failure Analysis teams in the Richardson market. This amazing opportunity will allow you to not only get your foot in the door at a great company, but also allow you to utilize and grow your skill set in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Pay: $21-28
  • Schedule: Monday through Thursday (OT available) - 3 day weekend every week!
    • 1st shift = 5am - 3:30pm
    • 2nd shift = 4pm - 2:30am

As a Test Technician, you will be responsible for providing complex technical support for printed circuit boards, subassemblies, production equipment or other related company products.
What You'll Be Doing
  • Sets up, operates and adjusts test sets and auxiliary equipment.
  • Reading and analyzes schematic diagrams, circuit descriptions and similar technical information.
  • Uses automated and non-automated diagnostic programs to perform electronic product testing and functional testing.
  • Assisting in the designs for, and performing the debug of test fixtures, test cables and other test equipment.
  • Troubleshoots, highlights and communicates issues relating to routine and/or basic defects.

What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years Test Technician experience (inclusive of Linux operating systems)
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required (will have to be verified) - Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Engineering Foundation Competencies
  • Knowledge of electrical, electromechanical and pneumatic systems and principals of operation along with testing and debugging procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret product specifications, schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical measurement, calibration and test equipment, their uses and applications.

Pay Details: $21.00 to $28.00 per hour
