Here at Advantest, we are blending precision manufacturing with cutting-edge tech to revolutionize the semiconductor game. Advantest is leveraging Industry 4.0 to bring together Innovation, Cutting-Edge Technology, Machining Automation, and Smart Manufacturing as we revolutionize the semiconductor industry. Advantest has the world's best product and solution development capabilities, and unmatched technical support delivered through global teamwork.

Where You Will Work

Our newly built 200,000 sf facility in Chandler, Arizona is just one example of how Advantest is leading the way in precision manufacturing by investing in our ability to deliver real-time decision making through connected networks of data to help improve manufacturing processes and productivity. Our parts boast standard tolerances of +-.0004", setting new benchmarks in the field. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Champion safety as the number one priority throughout every shift by enforcing safe work practices, addressing hazards immediately, and ensuring compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Set up, operate, and control manufacturing processes for all products produced on assigned equipment, ensuring consistency, repeatability, and adherence to established standards across all scheduled shifts.
  • Execute and monitor the production plan in alignment with the manufacturing schedule, ensuring all work is performed in accordance with QMS requirements, work instructions, and documented procedures.
  • Maintain full responsibility for product quality by following inspection plans, verifying conformance to specifications, and ensuring all required quality documentation and records are accurate, complete, and up to date.
  • Manage and maintain effective information flow within the cell to support acceptable quality levels, maximize spindle and machine utilization, and ensure preventative maintenance activities are current. This includes both verbal communication and proper documentation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor to semi-complex process, equipment, and quality issues. Perform basic root cause analysis, implement corrective actions, and escalate issues or engage additional resources as needed.
  • Analyze pallet counts, sister tooling, and automation requirements to support both manned and unmanned operations, ensuring the cell can meet scheduled production demands and sustain round-the-clock operation.
  • Provide day-to-day direction and leadership to machine operators and newly assigned employees, including on-the-job training, mentoring, and reinforcement of standard work and best practices.
  • Evaluate, maintain, and protect source code integrity for all assigned projects, ensuring program accuracy, version control, and alignment with approved processes and customer requirements.
