Job description

Maintenance Technician

Industry: Manufacturing

Location: Twin Falls, ID

Shift: Rotating shifts, Days 6am to 2pm, Swing 6pm to 10pm, Nights 10pm to 6am. Training on day shift for 2 to 3 weeks.

Client Overview

This is a large, established manufacturing operation producing industrial packaging products. The Twin Falls facility runs automated production equipment around the clock, and this role sits on the maintenance team keeping that equipment mechanically and electrically sound. It is a union site with rotating shift coverage based on operational need.

  • Mechanical and electrical drawing interpretation

What You'll Do

  • Provide mechanical and electrical support for multiple operating machines
  • Perform preventative maintenance, installation, service, and repair on industrial equipment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues on automated industrial machinery
  • Log maintenance activity using a CMMS
  • Maintain production equipment to a reliable operating level through preventative maintenance
  • Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
  • Work with motors, servos, pumps, drives, relays, and industrial controls
  • Support power transmission systems and communication devices
  • Repair equipment as issues arise across shifts

What We Need From You

  • 2 to 3 years of electromechanical automation installation and troubleshooting experience
  • Mechanical and electrical repair experience with strong PLC troubleshooting ability
  • Familiarity with hydraulics and pneumatics
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work independently and flexibly across rotating shifts, overtime, and varying days

Preferred / Bonus

  • Military training or technical school background
  • Computer literacy in a Microsoft environment
