THE ROLE

As a Licensed Electrician, you're the hands behind everything we promise our customers. You'll install, service, and troubleshoot residential and commercial electrical systems — with a heavy focus on our growing solar, battery storage, EV charger, and smart panel work. This is a hands-on role for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in clean, code-compliant work and wants to grow with a company that's scaling fast.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial electrical systems, wiring, panels, and service equipment

- Install and commission solar PV systems, battery storage, EV chargers, and smart panels

- Perform service upgrades, panel swaps, and load calculations

- Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics

- Ensure all work meets the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Connecticut state/local code requirements

- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently and safely

- Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, and the in-house team to keep jobs on schedule

- Supervise and mentor apprentices and helpers on-site

- Maintain a safe, organized job site and accurate records of work performed

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Active Connecticut E-1 (Unlimited Electrical Contractor) OR E-2 (Unlimited Journeyperson) license — required

- Solid knowledge of the NEC and Connecticut electrical code

- Experience with residential and/or commercial electrical installation and service

- Solar, battery storage, EV charger, or smart panel experience is a strong plus

- Comfortable reading blueprints and electrical schematics

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

- Able to lift heavy equipment, work on ladders/rooftops, and handle the physical demands of the trade

- Reliable, safety-minded, and professional with customers

- Must be 18 or older

TOOLS & EQUIPMENT

- Electrician provides their own hand tools (standard for the trade)

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

- W-2, full-time position

- Pay: $35 - $50/hr, depending on license level and experience
