The Role Journeyman Electrician

This role serves as a key leader in the field, responsible for ensuring the successful execution of electrical installations that meet project specifications, the National Electrical Code (NEC), and all applicable state and local regulations. The position requires a high level of technical expertise, commitment to quality workmanship, and strong leadership capabilities to guide and support field teams.


What You'll Do

  • Install all electrical equipment and material per the projects requirements, National Electrical Code, and the requirements of state and local authorities.
  • Apply and train to all codes, operating standards, practices and procedures.
  • Handle customer contact between both internal and external customers and respond to their needs promptly.
  • Coach and mentor apprentices on-site and facilitate the growth of others.
  • Be responsible for the safety and well-being of jobsite. Coaching others on the importance of safety including team members, GCs, customers and other trades.


What You Bring (Required Experience)

  • Must possess a Wisconsin State Journeymans License.
  • Must have 5+ years of electrical experience on either commercial, industrial, or residential jobsites.
  • Must be capable of leading a small crew (2 5 technicians/electricians) effectively.
  • Must have good troubleshooting and communication skills.

Bonus Points For (Preferred Experience)

  • Possess an active CPR/First Aid certification, or willing to obtain certification shortly after first day of employment.
