Job description

Position Summary

Bianco Electric is seeking a dependable and experienced Licensed Journeyman Electrician to join our team. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems on commercial, multi-family, and residential projects while ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with NEC, local codes, and company standards.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, capable of leading apprentices, and able to work independently or alongside a crew to complete projects on schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Install electrical systems including conduit, wiring, panels, devices, lighting, and equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, one-line diagrams, and electrical drawings
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems and diagnose issues efficiently
  • Ensure installations meet NEC, local code, and project specifications
  • Lead and mentor apprentices and helpers in the field
  • Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, inspectors, and other trades
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Complete daily reports, material lists, and job documentation as required
  • Operate power tools, lifts, ladders, and jobsite equipment safely
  • Perform service work, remodels, rough-ins, finish work, and equipment installations
  • Identify and communicate project issues, delays, or material shortages promptly
Qualifications
  • Current Journeyman Electrician License (Nebraska required; Omaha license preferred)
  • Minimum 4+ years of electrical field experience
  • Strong understanding of NEC and electrical construction practices
  • Ability to read plans and specifications
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various jobsite conditions
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work overtime when needed
Preferred Experience
  • Commercial and multi-family construction experience
  • Service troubleshooting experience
  • Experience with conduit bending and layout
  • Ability to run crews and manage small projects independently

Pay Range
