Electrician Helpers are entry-level workers who assist licensed electricians with various tasks on job sites. Their duties typically include carrying tools and materials, preparing and cleaning work areas, and helping install electrical wiring and equipment. While they do not perform complex electrical work themselves, they play a crucial support role by ensuring electricians can work efficiently and safely. This position is often a starting point for those interested in becoming fully qualified electricians, providing hands-on experience and exposure to the trade.

What does an electrician helper do?

Electrician helpers assist master electricians with the installation and maintenance of electrical power systems. The electrician helper performs supportive job duties so that the master electrician can focus on tasks requiring more experience and overall expertise. They also supply tools to the master electrician, maintain a clean workspace, and power down and store electrical equipment.
