Position Overview: An Electrical Punch Technician is responsible for addressing and correcting electrical deficiencies identified during the final stages of a construction project. This involves troubleshooting electrical systems, repairing or replacing faulty components, and ensuring all electrical work complies with relevant codes and standards.


Key Responsibilities:


Review electrical punch lists to identify and prioritize issues.

Troubleshoot electrical systems to diagnose problems accurately.

Repair or replace faulty electrical components, such as outlets, switches, fixtures, and wiring.

Test electrical systems to ensure proper functionality and safety.

Adhere to electrical codes and safety regulations.

Maintain accurate records of completed work and materials used.

Coordinate with project managers and other tradespeople as needed.

Assist with final inspections and obtaining electrical permits.


Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of one year of experience in electrical construction or maintenance.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of electrical codes and safety regulations.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Able to pass a drug test.
