About Us:

IMC Electrical LLC offers a wide range of electrical installation services for private and public facilities with a large footprint in the Multi-Family and Commercial markets. With headquarters in Northeast Florida, our team provides cost-effective electrical solutions. We strive to deliver quality service and efficient solutions to our clients.

Role Overview:

Responsible for overseeing and managing electrical crews on construction job sites. This role ensures work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project plans, specifications, and local electrical codes. Acts as a liaison between field staff and project managers, coordinating daily activities and resolving issues as they arise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervises work crews in the installation, repair, or maintenance of electrical systems, including installation of electrical wiring, conduits, transformers, lighting, switches, breakers, fuses, power lines, junction boxes, etc.
  • Coordinates the work of other contractors on site who are not directly involved in the electrical work
  • Reads and interprets blueprints and schematics to ensure proper installation and layout
  • Recommends changes to electrical designs to ensure that they meet local codes and standards
  • Plans, schedules, and coordinates work activities with project managers and other trades
  • Ensures work is performed according to safety standards, codes, and regulations
  • Provides training and guidance to electricians and apprentices
  • Tracks job progress and communicates updates or concerns to management
  • Manages material deliveries and inventory
  • Inspects completed work to ensure quality and compliance
  • Assists with problem-solving and resolving field-related issues

Required Skills and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4+ years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or repair; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior supervisory experience is preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history required
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred
  • Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) preferred


Capabilities:

  • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and OSHA safety standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and crews in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Commitment to quality and safety.

Working Conditions:

  • Work performed indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain).
  • Frequent standing, kneeling, bending, climbing ladders, and working at heights.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
