As part of our continued growth under the One Norlee platform, we are expanding our Healthcare Division and looking to add talented, motivated professionals to our team.

Position Summary

The Electrical Foreman is responsible for leading and supervising electrical crews on commercial, residential, service, healthcare, hospitality, and/or multi family projects. This role ensures work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with company standards, project specifications, and applicable electrical codes. The Electrical Foreman acts as the primary on-site leader, coordinating manpower, materials, and communication between the field and project management.


Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise, direct, and coordinate the daily activities of electrical crews on assigned job sites.

  • Plan and schedule work activities to meet project milestones and deadlines.

  • Read, interpret, and enforce electrical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and scopes of work.

  • Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, safety regulations, and company policies.

  • Conduct daily job briefings, safety talks, and toolbox meetings.

  • Monitor productivity, quality of workmanship, and crew performance; provide coaching and corrective action as needed.

  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Superintendents, General Contractors, inspectors, and other trades.

  • Order, track, and manage materials, tools, and equipment to avoid delays or waste.

  • Review job progress and report labor hours, material usage, and job status accurately and timely.

  • Identify potential issues or change conditions and communicate them promptly to management.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times.

  • Mentor and train apprentices and helpers in proper electrical methods and safety practices.


Qualifications
  • Journeyman Electrician license required (Master license preferred, where applicable).

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of electrical experience, including prior leadership or foreman experience.

  • Strong knowledge of commercial and/or industrial electrical systems and installations.

  • Thorough understanding of NEC and local electrical codes.

  • Proven ability to read and interpret construction documents and electrical drawings.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing job site conditions.

  • Proficient with basic technology (smartphones, tablets, timekeeping, and reporting tools).


Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work in confined spaces for extended periods.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

  • Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.


Work Environment
  • Active construction job sites including commercial, industrial, and institutional projects.

  • Exposure to electrical hazards, noise, dust, and outdoor conditions.


Preferred Skills & Attributes
  • OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certification.
