Job description

Our core services include millwrighting, electrical, pipefitting, fabrication, and industrial maintenance support for customers across manufacturing, automotive, food and beverage, material handling, and other industrial sectors. 
With the continued growth of our electrical division, we are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Electrical Project Manager to help support quoting, planning, coordination, and execution of industrial electrical work.
About the Role
The Electrical Project Manager will play a key role in supporting the growth and success of Bullet’s electrical division. This role will be responsible for estimating industrial electrical work, preparing accurate quotes, coordinating project execution, supporting field teams, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and profitably. This is a hands-on office and field coordination role suited for someone who understands industrial electrical work, can build strong customer relationships, and takes ownership from quote through job completion. The successful candidate will work closely with the General Manager, operations, dispatch, field electricians, and customers to ensure projects are properly estimated, planned, scheduled, and executed.
Key Responsibilities:
Estimating & Quoting
  • Review customer requests, site conditions, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
  • Prepare accurate labour, material, equipment, subcontractor, and rental estimates.
  • Build clear and professional customer quotes and proposals
  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing
  • Identify risks, exclusions, assumptions, and opportunities during the estimating process
  • Track open quotes and follow up with customers in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate records of estimates, quotes, revisions, and customer communications
Project Management & Coordination
  • Manage electrical jobs from award through completion
  • Coordinate manpower, materials, rentals, subcontractors, and equipment
  • Work with dispatch and field leadership to schedule work effectively
  • Communicate job expectations clearly to foremen, electricians, apprentices, and subcontractors
  • Ensure field teams have the information, drawings, materials, and support required to execute the work
  • Monitor project progress, labour hours, material costs, and overall job performance
  • Identify and resolve issues before they impact safety, schedule, quality, or profitability
  • Review completed work, close out jobs, and support invoicing
Customer & Field Support
  • Build strong relationships with industrial customers through clear communication, professionalism, and follow-through
  • Attend site visits, customer meetings, and job walks as required
  • Support troubleshooting, planning, and technical coordination for industrial electrical work
  • Ensure customer expectations are understood and managed throughout the job
  • Maintain a sense of urgency when responding to customer needs, quote requests, and active job issues
Safety, Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure work is planned and executed in accordance with applicable electrical codes, safety requirements, customer standards, and company procedures
  • Support job hazard assessments, pre-job planning, permits, and site-specific requirements
  • Promote safe work practices and professional conduct on all job sites
  • Assist with deficiency tracking, closeout documentation, and corrective actions as needed
Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of industrial electrical work
  • Electrical trade background preferred; 309A license is considered a strong asset
  • Previous estimating, project coordination, foreman, service, or project management experience in an industrial electrical environment
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, site information, and electrical scopes of work
  • Strong understanding of labour planning, material takeoffs, change orders, and job costing
  • Experience working with industrial customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and field trades
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable using technology, including Microsoft Office, email, scheduling tools, CRM/project tracking systems, and estimating tools
  • Valid driver’s license
