Join American Residential Services (ARS), the nation’s largest provider of residential HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services, with over 7,000+ team members and 45+ years of experience delivering trusted home services across the country.

We are hiring experienced Residential Electricians to perform electrical service, repairs, installations, and upgrades for homeowners. This role supports residential electrical service calls, generator installations, EV charger installations, and electrical system upgrades.

Responsibilities

As a Residential Electrician, you will perform electrical service calls and installations for homeowners.

  • Perform residential electrical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs

  • Install and service home generators and backup power systems

  • Strong sales aptitude with the ability to present options and close recommended work
  • Install and maintain EV (electric vehicle) charging stations

  • Install, repair, and upgrade electrical wiring, lighting, outlets, switches, and electrical panels

  • Ensure all electrical work meets national and local electrical codes

  • Communicate recommended electrical solutions clearly to homeowners

  • Deliver excellent customer service while completing residential electrical service work


Qualifications

What You’ll Bring:
  • Proven experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing residential electrical systems
  • Ability to identify customer needs and recommend solutions that improve safety, efficiency, and comfort
  • Strong sales aptitude with the ability to present options and close recommended work
  • 4+ years of residential electrical service experience preferred
  • Solid understanding of electrical systems, safety standards, and code compliance
  • Ability to work independently while delivering exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to educate homeowners and build trust
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record preferred
  • Commitment to quality workmanship and a customer-first mindset
