The Role
As a Utility Technician, you will be responsible for the preventative maintenance of our commercial kitchen equipment and location structures. You’ll manage a service route, ensuring our restaurants stay safe, clean, and fully operational.
Key Responsibilities:
Route Maintenance: Service multiple Cook Out locations, ensuring a well-maintained environment.
Tech-Savvy Tracking: Utilize a company tablet to record maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely manner.
Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine checks on HVAC units, filtration systems, and exhaust fans.
Facility Care: Oversee minor lighting repairs and schedule inspections for electrical fixtures and building structures.
Team Collaboration: Maintain strong professional relationships with Service Area Managers, office staff, and on-site restaurant teams.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
Experience: A background in restaurant equipment is strongly preferred, but we will train the right candidate who has a strong mechanical aptitude.
Tools & Physicality: Must possess basic tools and the ability to lift 50lbs or more.
Driving Record: A valid driver’s license (minimum 3 years) with a clean driving record (no major violations/accidents in the last 3–5 years).
Compliance: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check (no criminal convictions within the last 10 years).
Reliability: Dependable transportation to your assigned van location.
