Job description

We seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our manufacturing team in Garland, TX. In this role, you will assemble, wire, troubleshoot, and test electrical control panels, switchgear, and power distribution equipment according to engineering drawings, schematics, and production specifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams.
  • Wire, terminate, and install electrical components, including breakers, relays, transformers, terminal blocks, and control devices.
  • Assemble and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment.
  • Perform electrical testing, inspections, and quality checks to ensure compliance with company and customer specifications.
  • Identify and resolve wiring and assembly issues efficiently.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and effectively.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow all safety and quality standards.
  • Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an Electrical Technician, Electrical Assembler, Panel Builder, or similar role preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematics and technical drawings.
  • Knowledge of electrical components, wiring practices, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
