If you are a numbers-minded trade professional with a strong understanding of commercial electrical systems and a desire to build a long-term career with an organization that values your merit, Kraker Inc provides the tools and stable pipeline required to succeed.

Key Responsibilities

You will hold total ownership over the competitive bidding process, transforming complex commercial drawings into precise, profitable electrical budgets:

  • Quantity Takeoff Engineering: Perform comprehensive, digital quantity takeoffs for commercial power distribution, lighting systems, fire alarms, and branch wiring.
  • Blueprint & Document Analysis: Review and interpret architectural blueprints, structural drawings, MEP engineering schematics, and project specification manuals to identify cost variables.
  • Material & Labor Costing: Formulate detailed, accurate cost estimates for raw electrical materials, specialized equipment, components, and field labor hours.
  • Subcontractor & Vendor Solicitation: Reach out to specialized material suppliers, manufacturers, and sub-trades to solicit and negotiate highly competitive quotes.
  • Scope Definition & Review: Analyze project documents to construct a clear, unambiguous scope of work for field delivery, identifying potential design gaps or value engineering opportunities.
  • Project Handoff Collaboration: Finalize structural project estimates and compile highly organized handoff folders to ensure field superintendents and project managers are aligned on delivery budgets.
  • Data Matrix Management: Maintain and build accurate, updated cost databases and tracking spreadsheets to support lightning-fast estimate revisions.

What You Need to Succeed (Qualifications)

  • Estimating Tenure: Minimum of 3 years of dedicated, professional experience specifically formulating commercial electrical construction estimates.
  • Technical Schematic Fluency: Elite ability to read, interpret, and cross-reference complex architectural, civil, structural, and mechanical drawings.
  • Code & Systems Mastery: Deep functional understanding of commercial electrical power distributions, low-voltage control logic, and current National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
  • Software Literacy: Proficiency in professional electrical takeoff software architectures and Microsoft Excel spreadsheet logic.
  • Local Market Knowledge: Must be located in or within a reliable commuting distance of Senoia, GA, with a functional understanding of regional commercial vendor markets.
  • Professional Competencies: Strong organizational discipline, elite mathematical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and the capability to handle tight bid deadlines.

Compensation & Premium Benefits

We treat our pre-construction professionals as vital drivers of corporate scale, offering a robust benefits and career advancement structure:

  • Competitive Base Pay: Market-competitive salary customized directly to your professional commercial estimating record.
  • Future Wealth Generation: Access to corporate retirement savings options alongside structured performance incentives.
  • Health & Wellness Coverages: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance options.
  • Work-Life Balance Allocations: Full eligibility for earned Paid Time Off (PTO) covering vacations, personal sick days, and paid company holidays.
  • Continuous Skill Advancement: Access to advanced trade software instructions, ongoing safety credentials, and industry training resources.
