$130K - $140K/yr

Per diem

Posted 20 days ago

Job description

$130,000–$140,000 Annually + Per Diem

Alamogordo, New Mexico

The Opportunity

This is a field leadership role on a utility-scale renewable energy project, giving an experienced Electrical Superintendent direct ownership of electrical construction from active fieldwork through commissioning and punch-list close-out. You'll start with onboarding in Houston before relocating to lead the job site in Alamogordo, NM, working for a growing division of a large multinational renewable energy company.

Why You'll Love This Role

You'll run the electrical side of a utility-scale solar and BESS build, with real authority over schedule, safety, and crew performance in the field. This isn't a desk job overseeing paperwork; you're supervising daily construction activities, resolving issues as they come up, and reporting directly on production. A company truck is provided once you're on site in Alamogordo, and per diem is paid at $120/day, seven days a week, with CJR covering rotation travel and hotel costs during rotation periods.

Your Day-to-Day
  • Supervise and coordinate daily electrical construction activities in the field
  • Manage subcontractors and crews performing electrical installation
  • Ensure work is performed safely, on schedule, and to project specifications
  • Coordinate closely with project management, QA/QC, and safety teams
  • Track progress and resolve field issues, reporting daily and weekly on production
  • Enforce OSHA and site-specific safety requirements
  • Support commissioning and punch-list close-out activities
What We're Looking For
  • 5+ years of field supervisory experience in utility-scale renewable energy construction; solar or BESS experience preferred
  • Prior US work experience required
  • OSHA 30 certification preferred
  • Willingness to relocate to Alamogordo, NM following onboarding in Houston
Why Candidates Say Yes
  • Direct field leadership on a utility-scale solar and BESS project
  • Growing division of a large multinational renewable energy company
  • Strong per diem structure with covered rotation travel
  • Company truck provided on site
Ready to Apply?

If you've led electrical crews on utility-scale renewable builds and want to take ownership of a project from construction through commissioning, we'd like to talk.
