Job Description:

The Opportunity

As an Electrical Systems Supervisor, you will play a critical role in supporting the electrical infrastructure and energy management systems that keep our stores operating efficiently and reliably. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled professional who thrives on solving complex challenges, managing large-scale vendor relationships, and driving continuous improvement across a national retail footprint. You will direct the activities of Energy Services specialists while overseeing national vendor performance, project execution, and technical support initiatives. You will serve as a key technical resource for electrical and energy management systems across TJX U.S. stores. If you're passionate about electrical systems, energy management technologies, project leadership, and collaborating with and mentoring others, we'd love to hear from you. This is a hybrid position based in our Marlborough, MA offices.

What You'll Do

Lead Operations & Team Support

  • Provide training, coaching, and functional guidance on department procedures and company standards.
  • Delegate work effectively based on business priorities and operational needs.
  • Support the development of team expertise and continuous process improvement.

Manage Vendors & Energy Services Programs

  • Oversee daily workflows and processes supporting lighting and electrical repair vendors nationwide.
  • Manage contractor and vendor performance to ensure high-quality service delivery and store satisfaction.
  • Coordinate emergency electrical outage response efforts, including generator deployment and restoration activities.

Drive Technical Excellence

  • Act as the escalation point for complex electrical and energy management system issues.
  • Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for electrical infrastructure, building controls, and communication systems.
  • Collaborate with electricians, HVAC technicians, field partners, and internal stakeholders to diagnose and resolve challenging technical issues.

Lead Projects & Continuous Improvement

  • Develop technical specifications, review project requirements, negotiate vendor pricing, and manage project budgets and timelines.
  • Monitor project schedules and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
  • Partner with Store Planning, Construction, and external contractors to improve electrical system design, installation quality, and operational performance.
  • Enhance standards, specifications, and best practices for electrical and building control systems across the organization.

What You'll Bring

  • 7+ years of hands-on experience performing electrical and building controls repair.
  • 3+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Bachelor's degree, trade certification, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Proven expertise with commercial electrical systems, electrical wiring, and building controls technologies.
  • Strong understanding of communication wiring systems.
  • Project management experience with demonstrated success managing multiple priorities.
  • Experience managing contractors and vendors remotely.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of retail store construction, remodeling, and maintenance operations.
  • Understanding of lighting technologies and energy-efficient building systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional service and operational excellence.
  • Experience developing, managing, and monitoring operating and capital budgets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to provide occasional after-hours support for emergency situations
