We are currently seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join our Engineering team in Woburn, MA.

About The Role

The Project Engineer is an advanced technical contributor responsible for leading discipline-specific design execution on complex projects while supporting coordination, quality, and delivery. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys solving technical challenges, mentoring junior staff, and driving high-quality project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead discipline-specific design and documentation on projects of moderate to high complexity
  • Develop coordinated engineering solutions from schematic design through construction documents
  • Direct and review work by Designers and Senior Designers
  • Resolve technical, coordination, and code-related challenges
  • Support QA/QC, value engineering, and firm standards initiatives
  • Participate in RFIs, submittals, punch lists, field observations, and construction meetings
  • Mentor junior staff and serve as a technical resource to project teams

Knowledge & Experience Required

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline)
  • 8+ years of MEP consulting design experience
  • EIT required; PE preferred
  • Strong BIM/CAD proficiency
  • Advanced understanding of building systems, engineering principles, and applicable codes
  • Strong communication, coordination, and technical problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer
  • Occasional field investigations and site visits as required
