Electrical Engineer – New Product Development - Electrical Business Unit – Electrical Engineer

JVIS USA is a global manufacturing leader with innovative design and engineering expertise, combining the latest electronics, lighting, and materials technologies with our vertically integrated processes to take any idea from sketch to market — and all points in between.

The Electrical Business Unit develops, supports, and promotes products in consumer and automotive markets, utilizing embedded micro, power semiconductor, communication, display, LED, battery, printed ink, and switching technologies.

Join a global New Product Development team as a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to assist in the design and validation of new products. This role is ideal for those with at least 3 years’ experience.

Your Responsibilities:

• Perform engineering tasks by applying basic engineering theories and principles

• Support all stages of development from specification to design, prototype, releasing and manufacturing

• Embedded product design (electrical/schematic design, circuit analysis, simulations, low level registered oriented programming)

• Support design & technical reviews with customers (remote and/or on-site)

• Create and organize design documentation including DFMEA development, DVP, PCBA drawings, BOM creation and management, rapid quote BOM generation

• Collaborate with other engineering, manufacturing, and procurement teams within our organization and at our joint venture partners

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar, experience testing and validating PCBAs, basic knowledge of power electronics, experience with automotive electrical standards (OEM and/or ISO/CISPR), hands-on worker comfortable in both technical and operational environments, proficiency with EE tools such as oscilloscopes and power supplies, experience with Altium a plus, experience with Team Center a plus
