Role Description The Electrical Engineer will work full time on-site in Wheat Ridge, CO, contributing to commercial MEP projects from concept through construction. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing electrical load calculations, designing power distribution systems, and preparing construction documents, drawings, and specifications. The Electrical Engineer will review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and support field observations to verify installation aligns with design intent. Additional tasks include assisting with project scheduling, participating in design reviews, and contributing to continuous improvement of standards and templates.

Qualifications

  • FE certification.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Strong foundation in Electrical Engineering principles, including electricity and practical application of electrical codes.
  • Demonstrated skills in Electrical Design and layout for commercial building projects.
  • Knowledge Power Distribution systems, including panel schedules, feeders, and branch circuits.
  • Knowledge of Power Systems design, such as service entrances, backup power, and coordination with utilities.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design and drafting tools used in MEP engineering.
  • Ability to interpret and apply relevant electrical codes and standards (e.g., NEC, local building codes).
