Our client, a leader in the Power Engineering industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Inside Sales Engineer to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge electrical equipment and provide top-notch sales solutions.
  • Respondto customers bid requests and internal requests
  • Researchon-line bid opportunities
  • Analyzeand interpret electrical blueprints, specifications and addendums
  • Clarifyelectrical testing scope of work with customer estimators, projectmanagers and engineers of record
  • Obtainpricing from vendors for equipment repairs, parts and otherdepartments
  • Preparecomputer-based estimates
  • Participatein bid strategy meeting as requested
  • Generatereports, project bid status, PO's received
  • Preparedraft proposal for Outside Sales Engineer
  • Workclosely with Outside Sales Engineer
  • Facilitatecontract hand off to Operations and Engineering department includingjob assumptions

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role, with a strong background in electrical power.
  • Alternatively, experience working with electrical equipment distributors
  • Experience with a member company of the Professional Electrical Apparatus Recyclers League (PEARL) is a strong asset.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ready to work 100% on-site.
