Job description


Position Description:
Lead Design Verification Planning (DVP) and Product Validation (PV) activities for automotive electrical systems, with a primary focus on high-voltage wiring harnesses.
Responsible for validation planning, cross-functional coordination, supplier collaboration, testing, quality support, and execution through vehicle launch in accordance with Ford GPDS and program milestones. This is a Validation Leadership role, not a traditional Design & Release engineering position.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Design Verification Plans (DVPs) and Product Validation (PV) activities.
Develop validation strategies, test plans, and prototype requirements.
Coordinate validation with engineering, suppliers, manufacturing, and testing teams.
Track validation progress, engineering changes, and program milestones.
Support vehicle launches, quality improvements, and warranty investigations.
Lead Technical Design Reviews (TDRs) and maintain validation documentation.
Support DFMEA, PPAP, APQP, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement activities.

Skills Required:
Design Verification Planning (DVP)
Product Validation (PV),Automotive electrical systems
High-voltage wiring harnesses
Vehicle Program Process (VPP)
TeamCenter and/or CATIA ,PPAP, DFMEA, APQP

Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
5-10 years of automotive engineering experience.
5-10 years of wiring harness or automotive electrical systems experience.
Vehicle launch experience
Experience leading Design Verification (DV) and Product Validation (PV).
Experience creating and managing Design Verification Plans (DVPs).
PPAP and automotive product development experience.
Experience using TeamCenter and/or CATIA.

Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering o Electrical Engineering preferred o Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering acceptable
