Assembly Operator

Server Rack Assembly Operator - Hands-On Production Role
This role may also be known as: Production Assembler, Manufacturing Assembly Operator, Server Assembly Technician
If you like working with your hands, following a build process from start to finish, and seeing a finished product roll off the line because of the work you did, this role is worth a look.
Server Rack Assembly Operator �� Memphis, TN (Onsite)
�� $18.50/hour | Temp-to-Hire
Shift Options
  • 2nd Shift (2pm-10:30pm OR 3pm-12am)
  • 3rd Shift (11pm-7am)
  • Overtime available as needed
Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble server racks using hand and power tools
  • Install hardware, fasteners, and torque components according to specifications
  • Read and follow work instructions and engineering drawings
  • Perform functional go/no-go testing to ensure product quality
  • Pack, label, and prepare products for shipment
  • Move materials throughout the production floor
  • Receive and verify incoming materials
  • Identify and report defects or quality issues
  • Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Support different production stations in a flexible manufacturing environment
  • Assist other production departments as needed
  • Help meet production and quality goals
Qualifications
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable using hand and power tools
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Team player with a flexible attitude
  • High school diploma preferred
  • Experience in electronics, server assembly, manufacturing, or RMA is an asset
Physical Requirements
  • Lift up to 50 lbs
  • Push wheeled server racks up to 200 lbs
  • Stand and walk for most of the shift
