WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

  • Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and promptly alert the Supervisor or suitable contact about any unsafe situations or potential safety risks.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

  • Notify the Team Leader or other appropriate resource when issues arise concerning equipment, operations, materials, inventory, documentation, etc.

  • Receive, stock, pick, issue, and deliver materials within performance guidelines to ensure the delight of internal and external customers.

  • Maintain equipment, including safety checks.

  • Ensure a continuous supply of equipment and materials necessary to complete operations.

  • Meet established performance standards to ensure production schedules are met.

  • Ensure that products meet nVent’s quality specifications.

  • Maintain accurate records and inventory balances.

  • Perform rotational assignments as needed.

  • Actively participate as a team member through continuous improvement activities to meet customer needs.

YOU HAVE:

  • Knowledge of all material flow processes.

  • Knowledge of safety policies and procedures and the ability to promote compliance with them.

  • Skill in analytical thinking and problem-solving.

  • Skill in communicating effectively through oral and written communications.

  • Capacity to adjust to swiftly changing business situations and excel in a consistently evolving business setting.

  • Ability to operate equipment vital to the picking process, such as wave lift, tugger truck, and mother/daughter carts.

  • Ability to function in a fast-paced, fast-paced environment with a positive demeanor.

Weekend Shift: Friday - Sunday, 6:00 am - 6:30 pm

Pay Transparency

nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.

Compensation Range:

$14.80 - $27.50 Per Hour

Depending on the position offered, employee may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as annual incentives.
