Job description

Leading industrial equipment manufacturer in New Hudson area is hiring an Electrical CAD Drafter/Technician to create and update electrical schematics, panel layouts, and BOMs for custom production builds.

Work directly with engineering and shop floor manufacturing:

Draft and revise electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts in AutoCAD Electrical.
Manage Bills of Materials, wire lists, and Engineering change orders.
Review drawing packages to ensure 100% accuracy before production release.
Support new product development.
Standardize drawing templates, symbols and documentation practices.
Maintain organized engineering files and revision history.

Requirements
2+ years experience using AutoCAD Electrical.
Associate Degree or CAD/Electrical Certification.
Solid grasp of control panel layouts and components (relays, breakers, PLCs).
Strong organizational skills.
Experience with Autodesk Vault or similar document managing systems.
Experience working with manufacturing or custom engineered products.
