  • Read, interpret, and analyze design documents, specifications, contract documents, and exhibits.
  • Prepare comprehensive cost estimates and negotiate change orders.

  • Conduct weekly site visits with customers, superintendents, and field personnel.
  • Apply practical knowledge of the latest National Electrical Code (NEC) to identify and correct code or installation issues in the field.

Competencies

  • In-depth knowledge of electrical contracting principles and current NEC compliance.
  • Experience with estimating software (McCormick experience is a strong plus).
  • Familiarity with construction accounting platforms (Foundation Accounting Software preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook), with advanced spreadsheet creation skills.
  • Excellent organizational, negotiation, and time-management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for client and field interaction.
  • Ability to solve complex technical and field installation issues independently.

Full-time: $125,000 -$140,000 a year, based on experience and qualifications.
