SummaryElectrical Engineer
Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment, or other hardware systems and/or electrical engineering applications. Determines design approaches and parameters. Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results. Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability. May also review vendor capability to support product development.Job Description

Electrical Engineer

  • Design, implement and validate production control equipment.
  • Oversee the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
  • Maintain current records on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues.
  • Study equipment performance and reliability.
  • Establish programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.
  • Provide technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations.
  • Define and write preventative maintenance schedules.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or related field.
  • 4+ years of PLC programing experience preferred experience in Siemens and Honeywell controls.
  • 4+ years of experience in PCB layout, control systems.
  • 2+ years of experience in High Power Distribution, Equipment Electrical Harnessing

Preferred Skills & Knowledge

  • Master's Degree Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field
  • Experience in the design, construction and operation of high vacuum equipment, furnaces or relevant equipment
  • PLC programing experience preferred experience in Siemens and Honeywell controls.
