Summary
The Industrial Electrician / Electrical Systems Technician is responsible for the electrical assembly, wiring, and functional testing of vacuum systems, air compressor systems, and custom containerized equipment packages manufactured by Air Energy Group. This role ensures that all electrical components, wiring, and control systems are installed according to schematics, company standards, and customer requirements. The position also provides technical guidance to assembly personnel and supports the successful completion of production projects through electrical expertise and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical Assembly & Wiring
  • Determine electrical wiring requirements for vacuum systems, air compressor systems, and containerized equipment packages.
  • Install, route, and terminate electrical wiring for motors, pumps, controllers, and other system components.
  • Fabricate, bend, and install electrical conduit and associated hardware.
  • Mount and wire electrical panels, control systems, sensors, and instrumentation.
  • Perform electrical wiring and installation within custom containers and packaged systems, including routing conduit, installing control panels, and integrating equipment within the container structure.
  • Ensure all wiring and installations comply with applicable electrical codes, company standards, and customer specifications.

Testing & Quality Assurance
  • Perform electrical and operational testing of completed systems using schematics, testing procedures, and company checklists.
  • Verify proper functionality of motors, pumps, control panels, safety circuits, and control devices.
  • Identify and troubleshoot electrical issues during assembly and testing phases.
  • Document test results and ensure systems meet Air Energy Group and customer requirements.

Technical Support & Collaboration
  • Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to production and assembly personnel during system builds.
  • Assist engineering and production teams in resolving electrical design or assembly issues.
  • Recommend improvements to wiring practices, testing procedures, or electrical components.

Safety & Compliance
  • Follow all company safety procedures and applicable electrical safety standards.
  • Maintain organized and safe work areas.
  • Ensure proper grounding, circuit protection, and safe electrical installation practices.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification in electrical systems required.
  • Experience wiring industrial equipment, control panels, or machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
  • Experience with conduit bending, fabrication, and installation.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for electrical systems.
