Description
Endless Energy is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to perform residential electrical work supporting our growing HVAC, heat pump, energy-efficiency, and home electrification operations. This position is ideal for an electrician who takes pride in clean, code-compliant work, can work independently in customers' homes, and enjoys collaborating with HVAC technicians, installers, project managers, and other trades. The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for completing electrical installations, upgrades, troubleshooting, and related work while maintaining Endless Energy's standards for safety, workmanship, professionalism, and customer service.
What You'll Do
  • Perform residential electrical installations, repairs, upgrades, and troubleshooting
  • Complete electrical work associated with heat pump and HVAC installations
  • Install and replace disconnects, breakers, circuits, subpanels, and related electrical components
  • Perform electrical service and panel upgrades as required
  • Run new circuits and wiring for HVAC and home electrification projects
  • Diagnose electrical issues and determine appropriate repairs
  • Read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, manufacturer requirements, and job documentation
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable Massachusetts and local requirements
  • Coordinate with HVAC installers, technicians, project managers, and other field team members
  • Work professionally with local electrical inspectors and assist with inspection requirements and corrections when necessary
  • Maintain accurate documentation for completed work
  • Communicate job progress, field conditions, and potential project concerns to the appropriate team members
  • Maintain an organized and safe work area
  • Follow all company safety policies and electrical safety procedures
  • Protect customers' homes and property while completing work
  • Deliver a professional and respectful customer experience
  • Represent Endless Energy professionally while working in customers' homes and communities

Requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • Current Massachusetts Journeyman Electrician License
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Strong understanding of residential electrical systems
  • Working knowledge of current NEC requirements and applicable electrical codes
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems independently
  • Ability to safely use electrical tools, testing equipment, ladders, and other required equipment
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing to a larger installation and service team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Professional communication and customer-service skills
  • Basic computer, smartphone, and digital application skills
  • Ability to successfully complete required pre-employment screening

Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to perform the physical duties typically associated with residential electrical work, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, working in confined areas, and safely lifting and carrying tools, equipment, and materials.
Compensation: $40.00-$48.00 per hour
Final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, licensing, technical knowledge, and qualifications.
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, Day Shift. Occasional Saturday work may be required based on operational or customer needs.
