Job description

Premier Fence, LLC is redefining the way people think of fence, we protect property, save lives and build careers. Premier Fence is looking for a full-time or Part-time experienced Diesel Mechanics to join our high performing team in our next phase of growth in our new Middleborough location. Premier Fence services the Retail, Residential, Industrial, Commercial and Municipal markets with a team of dedicated industry professionals.

The basic function of the Diesel Mechanic at Premier Fence, LLC is to perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot reported issues with company equipment and vehicles.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform the necessary preventive maintenance to Diesel and non-diesel trucks and equipment including small engine repair and maintenance.
  • Coordinate repairs that are outsourced to truck repair shops.
  • Complete all necessary repair paperwork and purchase orders.
  • Check all vehicle registrations and inspections to make sure they are up to date.
  • May be required to perform work at various job sites.
  • Able to work O.T. during nights and weekends when necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Needs to have a valid Driver's License, CDL a plus.
  • A solid working knowledge of Diesel mechanics and Hydraulics preferred.
  • Needs to have good communications skills to be able to communicate with drivers.
  • Recent graduates from schools, programs, and senior mechanics.
  • Knowledge of electrical/air brakes systems a plus.
  • Knowledge of level 1 DOT trucks inspections a plus.
