Location: Clarks Summit, PA (Onsite with Hybrid Fridays)
Salary Range: $75,000 - $105,000 (based on experience and certifications)

Position Overview
A multidisciplinary architecture and engineering firm is seeking an Electrical Designer / Engineer with 3-7 years of building systems design experience to join its MEP team in Clarks Summit, PA. This role involves supporting projects from concept through construction while collaborating with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders across multiple market sectors.
Projects include healthcare, educational, commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities throughout PA, NY, and NJ.
Key Responsibilities
Design and analyze electrical building systems including lighting, power distribution, and special systems
Develop construction documents using AutoCAD and/or Revit
Coordinate with architects, mechanical engineers, plumbing engineers, and other disciplines throughout project phases
Support design of low voltage systems including fire alarm, security, and communications systems
Participate in field investigations, site visits, and construction administration activities
Assist with short circuit, protective device coordination, and arc flash studies
Communicate with clients, contractors, and project teams regarding technical project requirements
Qualifications / Requirements
Bachelor"s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program preferred
3-7 years of electrical consulting engineering experience focused on building systems design
Experience with lighting, power distribution, and special systems design
Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit along with strong communication and coordination skills
Preferred Qualifications
FE/EIT certification preferred
Experience with healthcare, commercial, educational, or industrial projects
Knowledge of NEC and applicable building codes
Familiarity with short circuit and arc flash analysis studies
