FST Technical Services is looking for an Electrical Technician to join our team!
Candidates should have basic skills involving Electrical Systems for manufacturing facilities. The candidate must have knowledge of main switchgear, main breakers, UPS units, generators, transfer switches, motors and control centers. This is a "hands-on administrative" role requiring writing and documentation skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Implementation support in the construction of Electrical and process system modifications.
  • Daily interface with construction personnel and facilities engineers and other technicians to coordinate project work in a live running factory.
  • The position demands excellent team player skills

Specific Task Requirements:
  • Work with the Electrical System Owner as a member of the project team to ensure accurate documentation of systems identification and labeling
  • Provide Project support for systems in and out of service and commissioning on a running factory.
  • Ensure equipment and overall system OAT / FAT process meet expectations.
  • Review with System Owner and provide technical verification of hardware.

Experience Requirements:
  • Good writing skills.
  • Understanding of overall electrical systems
  • Understanding of facility electrical systems is helpful
  • Experience with all types of Electrical instrumentation including Control Valves, AFD's, E-Gen's and High Voltage Power Systems is very helpful

Must be local to the Hillsboro, OR area. No relocation assistance provided. Must be available for on-site interview.
